Comment of the Month.
I hope to present a monthly commentary on this page each month. This month I will be directing my comments at the hypocrisy of the Australian Government. For over twenty years they kissed the ass of Indonesia over the East Timor issue. Now with East Timor's Independence it is the Australian taxpayer who is being asked to foot the bill with troops over there doing Police work and the promise that the taxpayer will foot the bill for the East Timor Parliament Building. That's right folks we get to pay for the building of a Parliament House in a foreign country while the overtaxed population pay through the nose for fuel and get screwed over with the new GST tax. I say leave East Timor to the East Timorese and lets start looking after the humble taxpayer here in Australia. Scrap this regressive GST which is sending businesses to the wall and for christ's sake let's get these fuel prices down. Charity begins at home so let's put an end to foreign aid NOW!
